We asked whether throwing out your TV could help you sleep.

Sounds a bit crazy, right? Weirdly though, it's been proven that if you've got a TV in your bedroom, you'll sleep worse than if you didn't. 

That's because as soon as you do more than sleep in your sleeping space, your mind disassociates itself from sleeping! Weird, huh. And the same thing goes for napping; if you can, do it outside of the bedroom. Napping in bed can trick your body into thinking you're planning on sleeping longer, which can mess up your sleep cycle.
